The glue that holds the incredibly diverse content of the Allied Media Conference together is media-based organizing. Media-based organizing is any collaborative process that uses media, art, or technology to address the roots of problems and advances holistic solutions towards a more just and creative world.
AMP is hiring a Landscape Architect to support the Create NED initiative, a collaborative project with the Restore Northeast Detroit (Restore NED) Coalition, made possible through a grant from ArtPlace. This is a contract position beginning November 1, 2015.
The Detroit Design Festival kicks off this week! Now in it’s fifth year, this annual event celebrates Detroit as a global center of design and creativity over five days of events including demos, panels, installations, parties and more. The festival is organized by the Detroit Creative Corridor Center. Events take place September 22-26 and are free and open to the public.
