Apply to be an Allied Media Conference volunteer

Are you interested in helping the AMC come to life? This year we are expecting about 2,000 participants and presenters, over 160 sessions and 3 nights of activities for everyone. We need your help!

Volunteers commit to eight (8) hours of work at the conference in exchange for

  • complimentary registration,
  • complimentary boxed lunch,
  • a free and special t-shirt,
  • and our eternal gratitude.

If you would like to volunteer for this year’s AMC, please complete this application. You will hear back from us by mid-May.

Volunteer Roles

Childcare
Assist the Childcare provider and help with Kids, Caregivers & Community Track. Watch and play with babies and kids in the childcare space, workshops, and lunch caucuses.

General Operations
General helpers help keep everything running smoothly before, during and after the conference. You may assist with things like: printing badges, hanging signs and banners, filling soap dispensers, post-conference tear-down and load-out, keeping an eye on the relaxation room, and other random logistical needs during the conference.

Medical Team
Are you a doctor or do you have medical expertise? Do you have first aid skills? Let us know if you will be able to assist in the event of a medical emergency at the conference.

Nighttime events
We are seeking volunteers to help with set-up and clean-up and running the door. We need people to fill these roles for the Friday night bowling party at the Garden Bowl, and Saturday night music event at MOCAD.

Registration table
This is where all the action is! Working at the registration table, you will get to see the steady stream of amazing AMC participants as they arrive, get them checked-in and sell merchandise.

Translation
If you speak any languages in addition to English (especially Spanish or ASL), sign up to provide one-on-one translation to conference participants.
