Report Back: AMP and EMEAC present at Rutgers

Last week Allied Media Projects Co-Director Jenny Lee presented at Representing the City: Technology Action and Change at Rutgers University, alongside Victoria Goff and Lottie Spady of East Michigan Environmental Action Council (EMEAC). This critical exploration of power and process in the collection and ownership of data was hosted by Rutgers' Bloustein School of Public Policy.

EMEAC published a report-back on their blog, The Above Ground:

While a day of discussions on data and technology can seem incredibly dry and dull, the work presented at the symposium was actually a thrilling peek at the way that various communities across the US are using technology to combat injustice and inequality through a demystification of collected data.
