The 18th annual Allied Media Conference is just a few weeks away! We are excited to share the online schedule featuring 300+ sessions that will take place over the four days and five nights of the conference.
We are excited to announce the launch of our Seed Grant Program, which provides 8-12 grants of $5,000-$10,000 each for the creation, research, and development of narrative-shifting moving-image projects and projects that support the infrastructure of a healthy moving-image ecosystem in Detroit.
Collaborative design is integral to what we do at the Allied Media Conference – from the organizing process behind the conference’s “tracks”, “practice spaces”, and “network gatherings” to developing the AMC’s visual brand and identity. A community event or program, especially one that uplifts the needs of marginalized communities, can result in outcomes that ripple across space and time. Although some are predictable, there are often unexpected impacts when people come together to share a unique experience — new collaborations, job opportunities, ideas, and friendships can emerge.
