The Detroit Future Media Guide to Digital Literacy is out! This beautifully designed guide presents reflections and resources from three years of media-based organizing for community revitalization through the Detroit Future Media program.
The 72-page guidebook introduces the concept of "digital literacy" and its role in community revitalization. It provides a history of the Detroit Future Media program and its impact, core ideas, program structure, and curriculum samples for you to use and adapt.

The trainings and services we offer reflect the knowledge and resources we’ve amassed over 15 years of producing the Allied Media Conference, and offering local media programs in Detroit.

Detroit Future Schools (DFS) needs innovative, passionate, committed teachers to apply. Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. The first round of applications will be reviewed in April 2013.

Detroit Future Media, a program offered by Allied Media Projects, has launched it's third year of media-based community organizing workshops in Detroit. Fifty-five participants were selected out of dozens of applications to develop Major Media Projects that will investigate a problem or set of problems, explore holistic solutions and foster transformative relationships in the process.
