"Allied Media Conference: Create / Connect / Transform" is our new video offering an answer to that question. It features footage shot at AMC2014 and interviews with conference organizers and participants.

Social Justice DiscoTech in Toronto (April 26)

The Social Justice DiscoTech is a one-day social justice-focused skill-sharing extravaganza featuring numerous design and technology discovery stations. Held at the Bento Miso Collaborative Workspace in Toronto, funds raised through the event will support the Future Design Lab at AMC2014.

Complex Movements: Critical Breaks residency during One Mic festival (April 3 - 6)

Complex Movements is investigating the relationship between complex science and social justice movements in their interactive performance "Beware of the Dandelions." From April 3rd through April 6th, Complex Movements will be in residency at the Anacostia Arts Center as part of One Mic: Hip Hop Culture Worldwide. People are invited to work closely with the team to test low and high tech gaming scenarios and create a greater understanding of the underlying social justice principles embedded in "Beware of the Dandelions" through a series of workshops and intense collaborative work sessions.
