As we welcome our many communities from across the continent (and seas!) to Detroit this weekend, we are holding immense joy and sadness simultaneously. We are thrilled to reunite this beautiful network of media-based organizers who give us so much hope and inspiration. At the same time, we know that many are coming into this weekend carrying deep grief over the recent Orlando shootings and the one year anniversary of the Charleston shootings.
We are excited to announce 13 “Delegations” to this year’s Allied Media Conference! Delegations are groups who collectively fundraise to get to the conference, attend sessions together during the conference, and reflect on the conference as a group after it’s over.

With 300+ sessions, 28 different tracks, practice spaces, and network gatherings, and numerous satellite events and parties, the AMC has a lot to offer. The 18th annual Allied Media Conference is coming up, June 16-19th in Detroit. We are excited to announce “Community Dinners,” which are taking place on Thursday and Saturday evenings during the conference. Break bread with AMC friends old and new, share ideas and some great, locally sourced food!
