AMP Blog: AMC2014
Browse the entire AMC! This year’s Allied Media Conference features 238 panels, strategy sessions, hands-on workshops, parties and performances. It's the biggest AMC ever and it is coming to the campus of Wayne State University and surrounding venues in just a few weeks: June 19 - 22, 2014.
AMC Music is the Saturday night music showcase of the 16th annual Allied Media Conference. It will feature an incredible all-Detroit line up: Underground Resistance presents D3 (live), Lola Valley, Shigeto, MGUN, Little Animal, and Tunde Olaniran.
The Social Justice DiscoTech is a one-day social justice-focused skill-sharing extravaganza featuring numerous design and technology discovery stations. Held at the Bento Miso Collaborative Workspace in Toronto, funds raised through the event will support the Future Design Lab at AMC2014.
The AMC is a uniquely designed conference that relies upon the collective brilliance of it's network to build the content of the annual event, and to continuously evolve the way in which the AMC is organized. Last year, we created the How We Organize the AMC zine, which focused on the process behind the production of the Tracks, Practice Spaces, and Network Gatherings of the AMC.
Our new AMC Presenter Guidelines mini-zine builds upon this by offering 10 tips for presenters of Allied Media Conference sessions.
Are you interested in helping the AMC come to life? This year we are expecting about 2,000 participants and presenters, over 160 sessions and 3 nights of activities for everyone. We need your help!
