Our work started on the westside of Detroit. We transmuted experiences of trauma from Adrienne watching school systems call the cops on children she worked with, students who were frustrated from not understanding how to heal from situations with peers, and an overall tiredness of the the results of white supremacy, colonization, and autonomous respect not being given. We also just wanted more spaces where we could be ourselves and have fun. Everything we’ve ever dreamed of, we decided we wanted to build.
