The Allied Media Conference offers hands-on trainings and strategy sessions in a wide-range of media practices.
Through the AMC, held every summer in Detroit, we unite the worlds of media, art, technology, education and social justice. Participants build knowledge and relationships that continue to grow throughout the year.

Detroit Future Media teaches core digital media competencies, and their application in community organizing, education, and entrepreneurship.

Detroit is what the rest of the world has to look forward to. In Detroit we are growing a community of media makers, culture producers, technologists, and small business owners who are building a media-based economy at the city's grassroots. We believe that instead of trying to "bridge the digital divide" between our communities and existing technology, it is more important to reshape technology to meet our communities' needs.
Allied Media Projects is a co-presenter of two events as part of the openFrameworks worldwide developers conference in Detroit. We are hosting these events in partnership with Emergence Media, rootoftwo, Artserve Michigan, Work Department, MOCAD, and the Detroit Digital Justice Coalition.
This was the most epic year-to-date in the life of Allied Media Projects.
