As a member of the Detroit Digital Justice Coalition, Allied Media Projects has been supporting the construction of community wireless networks in several Detroit neighborhoods. Last week, this work was highlighted in a great article by Jamilah King for Colorlines Magazine.
The article prompted MSNBC's Melissa Harris-Perry to profile DDJC member Dolores Leonard for her dedicated leadership in her Southwest Detroit neighborhood, 48217. We're proud to be a part of this important work of creating a healthy digital ecology in Detroit and we appreciate the press coverage!
